About the Artist

Susie Chesworth (Berkowicz) is a British/Australian artist, working in acrylic, oil, ink, watercolour, watercolour pencil and charcoal.

She has a passion for creating fine detail images inspired by natural beach landscapes and other peaceful scenes.

Susie has a keen interest in how the mind works. She is a published scientific author, with a PhD in molecular neuroscience and many years of experience developing novel biology lab techniques.

Experience with developing new ways of doing things allows Susie to bring a unique perspective to painting. She has fun developing new painting techniques that bring out the emotion and mood of a scene.
